La Toya Ruby Frazier, an artist-activist who uses photography, video, installation art, books, and immersive collaborations with her subjects to tell their stories of injustice, was the keynote speaker at Illinois State University’s 2024 Earth Day Breakfast, held April 18, 2024, at the Brown Ballroom in the Bone Student Center.

The Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) Program is celebrating its 50th anniversary this spring with a retrospective exhibit from Illinois State University’s archives.

In weeks leading up to the Gamma Phi Circus home shows, April 19-20, seniors Emma Rauschenbach and Sylvia Raquel and sophomore Jillian Riley have been busy perfecting the troop’s choreography inspired by favorite musicals.

The School of Theatre and Dance will wrap up the spring 2024 semester with the Spring Dance Concert, Transcend!, with artistic direction from Laina Reese. The concert will consist of five unique pieces, featuring choreography from Kyle Ayers, Greg Merriman, Laina Reese, Sarah Semonis, and guest artist Will Gill.
